...It's life, and these are things I've learned from the past....I've learned that I am never again going to be anybody's fool...I've learned about Domestic Violence. I've learned that people cannot be taken at face value. I've learned about evil. I've learned to take responsibility for who I allow into my life. I learned that trust and respect is a priviledge not a right. I've learned to trust my instincts. I've learned that humor and laughter can save the day. I've learned that I can be comfortable and happy with myself. I've learned about inner strength. I've learned that there are people just like me who have also suffered at the hands of a narcissist...and that has made all the difference. We will survive this because we still have hope and the faith that things will get better. That's what I've learned....
